Hello.
The usual strangeness of Katy’s blog has been interupted for a very important message from her band alias, Fade to White.
Want to be in Fade to White’s latest song?
Here’s your chance.
How, though, you may ask?
01. record your line
She needs you to record you, your little sister, your big brother, your mom, your dad, your grandma, anyone you want, saying one short sentence.
Your line is simple.
“I can live this life.”
And that is all.
You may say it however you like. Passionately, quietly, shouting, whispering… you get the idea.
You don’t need fancy equipment or anything. Just a typical built-in laptop mic will work.
02. send it in
Once you’ve recorded you and/or your friends or family saying this line, email it in a file (I’ll accept any format that works) to
katymaisano[at]gmail[dot]com.
03. spread the word
This one isn’t mandatory, but it sure would be appreciated. If you have a blog, you can share the photo below by saving it to your computer. No blog? Post to it to your Facebook wall! Anything helps.
The deadline is November 25th of this year.
Hurry up! Send it in! I need you!

Interesting! I’ll do what I can!
How many voices do you need? I can get my friends at Girls Ensemble to help out if you want! :) And all my siblings, if you want more of a variety of voices. At any rate, I’ll be sure to send in my voice soon, probably on Saturday. And yes, I’ll post about this on my blog and fb tomorrow! :D
That would be awesome! I need as many as I can get. :) And if your siblings want to do it too, that woud be beyond awesome. I variety of voices is just what I’m looking for. :) Thank you so much!
I’ll do it :)
interesting idea :) I’ll do it :)
Ok…I talked to my friend Justine and she is going to get her, her brother and her mum to all participate as well as her cousin Dallas and some people from their youth group :)
Golly! Thank you so much, Willers!! You just made me super happy. :) :)
Oh, Dallas just sent me all of the recordings! I will forward them to you ASAP :)
Yessss! Yaaay!
